Blizzard has just rolled out the cinematic trailer for The War Within, the eleventh expansion of the iconic World of Warcraft MMORPG. The release, greeted with a lot of excitement from the community, offers a closer look at familiar heroes Anduin Wrynn and Thrall (which has grown quite a lot) as they confront new challenges and reflect on past decisions.
The stirring new video takes us deep into the emotional turmoil of King Anduin Wrynn. Known for his compassionate leadership and the heavy burdens he’s shouldered, Anduin faces a moment of reckoning. The World Soul of Azeroth isn’t just a source of untold power, it’s a beacon calling out to its champions as a new danger looms under the shadow of the Sword of Sargeras.
Thrall, the seasoned former Warchief of the Horde, stands alongside Anduin. Together, these characters, each carrying their histories of war and peace, become the focal point for players keen to explore the narrative depths of “The War Within.”
