Ranked Play for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is scheduled to arrive with Season 2 on February 5, 2026, giving competitive players a proper ladder after the game’s launch period.
Treyarch has confirmed for Season 2 that Ranked Play will be added to both Black Ops 7 multiplayer and Warzone. Season 2 is scheduled to begin February 5, 2026, which is when players should expect the competitive mode to go live.
The mode didn’t ship at launch so the studio could let the core multiplayer settle first. That gives Treyarch time to patch glaring balance issues and avoid dropping casual players straight into high-stakes matches while the meta is still shifting.
Ranked Play will bring the usual league structure, promotion and relegation, and the kind of high-pressure matches that reward coordination and consistency. Players who want to climb should iron out a reliable loadout, pick a small squad they trust, and keep an eye on balance patches once Season 2 begins.
Details about exact timing of the season and any additional Ranked rules haven’t been released. If anything changes to the February 5 window, updates will follow.
