If you’ve been curious about Black Ops 6, now’s your chance! Activision is letting players dive into multiplayer and Zombie modes for free this weekend, just in time for the start of Season 02. It’s a nice opportunity to see everything without spending a dime.
What’s in the Black Ops 6 Free Play Weekend?
From February 6 to 10, you can jump into Black Ops 6 at no cost. The free trial includes ten multiplayer maps featuring two new additions from this season: Bounty and Dealership. You’ll also have access to six core modes:
- Team Deathmatch
- Hardpoint
- Domination
- Kill Confirmed
- Kill Order
- Gunfight
If that isn’t enough, players can enjoy playlists like 24/7 Nuketown and 24/7 Stakeout. There’s something enjoyable about playing on those classic maps with friends or even casually shooting bots.
The new mode, Overdrive, was introduced this season and could be quite the adrenaline rush. Players will need to complete challenges while taking down enemies to earn stars. With each challenge completed, more abilities unlock, which sounds like a blast when you’re up against tough opponents.
Zombies fans won’t be left out either! You’ll get to try out the brand-new map, The Tomb. Plus, you can revisit Liberty Falls, one of the crowd-favorite COD Zombies maps that many have been raving about lately.
Black Ops 6, released in 2024, made waves as one of the biggest launches in Call of Duty history. It was especially popular thanks to its availability on Game Pass. While there have been some bumps since launch, particularly regarding Ranked Play, the game still holds strong as an option worth checking out during this free event.
