Bethesda’s Starfield most likely to come as an Exclusive to next-gen Consoles

After the confirmation of Starfield at this year’s Starfield, the new sci-fi game that’s in the works. Everyone started assuming how this game will play out and in what form will come out on the next-gen consoles. Well, according to the developers, the title may be available to this generation of consoles, or maybe the next one coming in as an Exclusive.

Todd Howard, during the reveal event, has told that Starfield will possibly skip the current generation consoles and come as an exclusive on the next-gen consoles, PS5 and the next Xbox. Todd Howard stated that he’s willing to focus on the next-gen consoles.

However, the central question is more about whether the game will be playable at 60 fps?. Now speaking of that nature, is more common to see the title coming out Exclusively on the next-gen consoles. Todd Howard stated clearly:

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t know the answer to that yet,” he said. “I can’t absolutely say yes to [leaving current generation console behind]. We’re not going to limit the game that way yet. I’m willing to [leave current generation consoles behind] but it’s not a priority right now. I’d put it that way.

In continuation on more about the game, he said:

When you’re making a game, you want to get the best stuff on the screen, and then you optimize and you do things and if it lands here, we can cast a wider net, great. But if we can’t … we’ve done that before.

Therefore, we may somewhat agree that releasing the game exclusively on the next-gen consoles will be the best option. However, taken into consideration that is still in development, we do not want to bring conclusions that may prove wrong.
