Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls Sale Slashes Prices Up to 75%, Including 20% Off Oblivion Remastered

All Elder Scrolls games are discounted in Bethesda's weekend Steam sale, with notable deals on Oblivion and Skyrim.

Oblivion Remastered stands out here at $40/£40 with a 20% discount. Not the steepest cut, but considering how long it’s been out and how well the overhaul has been received, it’s the lowest price. If you caught the Fanatical launch sale, you’ll know this beats that $41.50 price tag. The modding community’s love affair with this title only adds to its appeal, especially with projects like Tamriel Rebuilt and Skyblivion pushing boundaries.

The biggest markdowns hit Skyrim Special Edition, two versions of Oblivion Game of the Year Edition, and The Elder Scrolls Online, all at 75% off. Oblivion GOTY is a steal at $3.74 (£3.24), and its Deluxe edition, which bundles expansions and DLC, runs $5 (£4). Meanwhile, The Elder Scrolls Online, including the Morrowind chapter, is also down to $5 (£4). It’s come a long way since launch and might be the best bang for your buck.

Skyrim’s Special Edition is $10 (£8.74), and you can grab the Anniversary Edition upgrade, which includes a bundle of Creation Club mods, for the same price. The reaction to the Anniversary Edition is mixed, with some users having trouble downloading mods post-purchase. Even the positive reviews hint it’s best bought on sale so that this weekend might be your moment. If VR is your thing, Skyrim VR is also 75% off at $15 (£12.49), allowing you to look at Skyrim in stereoscopic 3D.

There are also a couple of less celebrated Elder Scrolls spinoffs on offer. The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard and An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire are 60% off at $2.39 (£1.95). Not the best games in the series, but if your collection has to be complete, these prices won’t break the bank.

Lastly, Morrowind is 60% off at $6 (£5.19). It’s a crucial piece of Elder Scrolls history and the foundation for vast mods like Tamriel Rebuilt, which recently dropped a massive new city called Narsis and is already planning its next significant expansion. Morrowind remains a must-have for anyone serious about the series.

These deals run through the weekend until Thursday, June 5. So, if you’ve been eager to jump back into Tamriel or finally try these legendary games, now’s your shot. What’s your pick? Oblivion Remastered, Skyrim VR, or maybe Morrowind? Let me know in the comments below!
