Bethesda Quits Hosting Digital Showcase For Upcoming Games in June

Bethesda has given up on hosting a digital showcase for new and upcoming games in June. With the cancellation of E3 due to Coronavirus, developers across the globe have missed a severe chance of promoting their forthcoming entertainment software titles. Some of them have committed to digital showcase, while Bethesda serves the departure ultimately.

This was confirmed earlier today when Pete Hines had addressed his followers on Twitter. Bethesda’s senior vice president has announced that Bethesda will not host a digital showcase in June. Given the horrific story created by the pandemic that’s currently shattering the whole world, Bethesda will post news regarding the company’s future.

However, the news won’t be representing a title showcase, and will most probably lean towards the health and plans of the developer. QuakeCon, Bethesda’s proud annual e-sport event, is also following its first cancelation due to the Coronavirus, which is the first time in 25 years of existence.

We hope that the world beats this agony as soon as possible, because not only the economy but also the entertainment software may drown into waters.

I've spent half of my life playing video games, ever since the competitive 1.6 era. Now I am happily married to Margarita Kicevski, and have two beautiful children. My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
