Kevin McAllister, the Community Manager at Bend Studio, recently addressed Days Gone fans on X, expressing regret for the misinformation and false hope circulating about Days Gone. The message also highlights the frustration caused by plenty of unreliable sources and rumors.

In his statement, McAllister clarified the studio’s current focus, but also stating that Bend Studio is working on a new IP. Furthermore, he assured fans that any official news for the project itself would come directly from the studio. See it as an attempt to manage expectations and drive the community away from speculations and various malicious intentions that has recently been misleading fans.

The tweet reads: “I apologize to our Days Gone community for continuously getting fed false hope and poor information by people looking for likes. It’s not fair to you all. We are currently working on a new IP, and when we have actual news to share it will come from our studio.”

I've spent half of my life playing video games, ever since the competitive 1.6 era. Now I am happily married to Margarita Kicevski, and have two beautiful children. My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
