Believe it or not, CoD: Warzone Banned Over 70,000 Cheaters

Warzone, the proudly presented Battle Royale Genre in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare has reached colossal success shortly after its release. However, the bigger the player base, the bigger the problems. Some of the users of third-party programs that grant vicious benefits over others are one of the issues that Activision is battling against. Today, the number of banned cheaters in Warzone is over 70,000.

The last week the developer has announced that over 50,000 players were banned. That number was increased by 20,000 after a couple of days. The rule is pretty simple. There’s no room for scenarios that are ruining the game experience for others, and Activision and Infinity Ward act accordingly.

We've now issued over 70,000 bans worldwide to protect #Warzone from cheaters. We're continuing to deploy dedicated security updates and work continues on improving in-game reporting. We'll share more details soon. We are watching. We have zero tolerance for cheaters.

In other news, Activision’s CoD: Warzone has over 50 million active players. The number is expected to drop due to the new sensation, Valorant. Infinity Ward will keep an eye on the Cheaters that emerge in Warzone and will try to fight against it in the best possible way.

Similar to other game developers, Infinity Ward hasn’t fully discovered how their anti-cheat and battling against cheaters work, so the developers of the harmful third-party applications wouldn’t find it easy to develop a cheat. A knowledgable yet working tactic proved in many other video games.
