Battlefield Studios confirmed this week that the Winter Offensive 1.1.3.0 update, which went live on December 9, introduced several “unexpected behaviors” across platforms and that teams are actively triaging player reports.
The studio published a statement on X, and community manager Kevin Johnson also posted to the platform noting, “Your experience and your feedback matter,” as the developer collected logs and prioritized issues. The public messages listed a range of problem areas flagged by players, including Breakthrough, the Firing Range, Portal, main menu performance, and micro-stuttering on PC.

Some fixes were already bundled into the PC patch released earlier in the week, which targeted stuttering and a Firing Range bug. Battlefield Studios said it would continue validating those resolutions, gather more data from player reports, and roll additional hotfixes based on severity and player impact.
Players seeking a more complete rundown of what changed in the event release can consult the Winter Offensive notes published by a CPG team, which cover the Ice Lock mechanic, the new NOMAD CX-12 item, and other adjustments delivered with the seasonal update.
CPG will monitor the studio posts and upcoming hotfixes and report any confirmed fixes or wide-reaching regressions as they arrive. Readers can view the developer posts directly in the Battlefield Studios statement on X and the community manager’s message at Kevin Johnson’s tweet. For an itemized look at the December release, see the Winter Offensive notes.
I want to make it clear, your experience and your feedback matter. All of our Battlefield Studios teams are working to address the issues picked up and ensure your experience is the best it can be.
Thank you for keeping us focused, fixes are either here – or on the way. 🫡 https://t.co/7QrIYJnfKO
