Battlefield 5’s published minimum system requirements were wrong

Before some time, we have published the “official” minimum system requirements for Battlefield 5. However, it has proven to be wrong. EA’s community manager has tweeted out that the official minimum PC specs are missing and are not a vital piece of information since they have been published as placeholders.

You can find his official tweet below:

Recently, incorrect minimum PC specs for #Battlefield V were published as placeholders. We haven’t announced our minimum or recommended specs for Battlefield V yet. Stay tuned!

— Dan (@dan_mitre) June 5, 2018

Therefore, we owe you an apology for spreading the wrong piece of information out there. However, it was not our fault for bringing this out since the developers have stated the same. Furthermore, the community manager has said that the recommended and minimum spec are yet to be revealed, so we’ll follow them on the Origin platform.

Being stated there as a coming soon message it is somewhat worth waiting and checking that piece of placeholder info every single day. Rest assured, we won’t make this mistake once again. Just as a reminder, Battlefield 5 will come out in October.
