Battlefield 2042 is one of the most anticipated shooters of the decade. After its reveal and announcement of some game modes, a curiosity spike made us dig more about secret game modes in development but haven’t been revealed on the big screen. EA Dice is definitely working on something else, as Tom Henderson, a renowned Battlefield leaker, has discovered something new today.
Aside from the Hazard Zone, a game mode that will be different than a Battle Royale, most probably similar to Escape From Tarkov, there will be a new secret game mode named Battlefield Hub. What is exciting is that these game modes will be accessible via a separate download so that players will be able to save HDD space. They will both be free to play. Battlefield Hub is estimated to include many old remastered particles such as maps, weapons, vehicles, and more. For the first time in its history, it may inspire combat between older and newer generations of Battlefield.
It’s quite exciting to see an Escape From Tarkov mode coming to Battlefield, as it will surely incentivize many Tarkovians to come and try Hazard Zone out. Furthermore, Battlefield Hub and Hazard Zone are planned to be revealed on July 22, during EA Play Live.
