Battlefield 2042‘s Road to Battlefield 6 crossover battle pass misallocated weekly tokens this week, reducing earned progress for some players. DICE pushed a backend server fix and granted an apology reward of four hours of double XP, but affected players may still be missing tokens they already earned.
Progression on the Road to Battlefield 6 pass runs on weekly missions that award tokens. Normally the three challenge sets in a week rewarded 4, 5 and 6 tokens respectively, plus a 10-token bonus mission, for a total of 55 tokens per week. An error caused each set to grant one token less, dropping the week’s total to 46 tokens for some players.
Today we've rolled out a backend server fix which includes additional progression changes for the Road to Battlefield 6 event on Battlefield 2042.
Mini Notes as follows:
◽️ Week 3 had unintended token amounts and have now been corrected with the following:

The developer has corrected the issue and also adjusted future weekly challenges so each set gives one extra token – the first set will give five, the second six, and the third seven. That change raises the possible weekly haul to 64 tokens, thereby accelerating progress in the pass going forward. Annoying for those who have already finished, the fix doesn’t appear to reimburse the nine tokens some players lost automatically.
As an apology, DICE is giving affected players four hours of double XP on next login. There has been no clear statement about direct token refunds for players who completed the flawed challenges before the backend fix took effect.
