The official Assassin’s Creed account on X (formerly Twitter) shared a teaser featuring a mysterious figure surrounded by red flames, watching the protagonists Naoe and Yasuke. The post reads, “Step into the Fog. A new Dead by Daylight quest begins. Slip through the shadows. Survive the ordeal.” While details remain scarce, the collaboration hints at a dark and suspenseful experience blending elements from both games.
This crossover has been hinted at for some time. Ubisoft’s Year 1 roadmap for Assassin’s Creed: Shadows revealed a unique collaboration planned for late May, alongside updates to parkour mechanics and a photo mode. The parkour update will introduce new moves such as height-gaining back ejects, side ejects, and a vertical ledge jump, adding more fluidity to movement.
Players received a free quest update earlier this month, keeping the game’s content fresh and interesting. The Dead by Daylight collaboration seems to continue this trend, offering something new for fans of both franchises.
