Ubisoft Quebec will deliver Title Update 1.1.6 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Tuesday November 25 and that update brings an official Attack on Titan crossover that runs through Monday, December 22. The update is Shadows’ third story drop and includes a short questline called A Puzzlement that also lets Naoe learn a version of Yasuke’s war kick. The crossover itself starts when a mysterious faction brings a Titan-Shifter into Sengoku Period Japan, and a woman named Ada asks Naoe and Yasuke to rescue him from a captor named Albert in a Crystal Cave.
Completing the crossover quest unlocks a crystal katana for Naoe and opens a purchasable Dual Pack that contains Titan-themed samurai armor for Yasuke and a Survey Corps outfit for Naoe. In addition to those cosmetic rewards, Yasuke will gain a non-lethal takedown ability, and the A Puzzlement quest expands the two characters’ move sets before they finish the update with a friendly duel.
This is Shadows’ second branded crossover since the game launched earlier this year. The team behind the game previously added a crossover with Dead by Daylight in May, and that event was similarly packaged as a Dual Pack with emotes and armor. The previous crossover is described in our coverage of the Dead by Daylight crossover. Title Update 1.1.6 is free and will be available on PC and consoles on November 25. The Attack on Titan content is available in-game from November 25 through December 22 and players can find Ada in the Yamashiro Region north of Hanazo Tower to start the quest.
