ARC Raiders launches Oct. 31 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and Embark Studios is already lining up post-launch additions. In a recent SkillUp interview, Executive Producer Aleksander Grondal said the studio has a few “bigger” updates slated before the new year and that a public roadmap for next year’s content will go live within days. Grondal highlighted ongoing work on new content, maps, enemy ARCs, quests, and system updates. He specifically teased the possibility of new ARCs arriving soon and hinted that something could land around Christmas tied to Stella Montis, the game’s fifth map that Embark has kept under wraps.
A YouTube clip of the interview is available below.
The developer described a plan to keep adding content on a steady cadence, with a couple of larger drops before the new year. For players worried there won’t be visibility into the schedule, Grondal confirmed a roadmap is coming; the studio hopes to publish something in the next few days while plans for the following year are still being finalized. We previously covered Embark’s earlier comments about treating ARC Raiders as a long-term project and the studio’s previous reluctance to publish a roadmap before launch here. The mention of Stella Montis aligns with the recently announced launch map rundown, where the fifth map was teased but left secret.
Expect a steady trickle of updates and a couple of bigger content pushes in the near term. New ARCs would change enemy variety and mission pacing, and map-driven drops that target Stella Montis could bring events or live updates tied to a single environment. Grondal didn’t give a date-by-date schedule, so the roadmap will be the clearest picture of what players can expect in 2026. ARC Raiders launches on Oct. 31. If the studio follows through, the first set of post-launch updates will arrive within weeks rather than months.
