Embark Studios’ third Expedition Window for ARC Raiders will open 58 days after the second window closed, which places the start on April 29, 2026. Players who want to participate should begin preparing now because the Project carries multiple large material and currency requirements, and the departure confirmation is only a few days after the window opens. Embark is adjusting rewards and requirements between Expedition cycles, and progress already made toward the previous Expedition Project will still be saved when the third Project appears. The live countdown is visible when a player previews the Project in-game.

The studio typically gives raiders roughly four to five days after the Expedition Window opens to confirm their departure, so assuming the same cadence, the wipe and departure confirmation are expected around May 3, 2026, but Embark has not confirmed exact confirmation dates. Previous reporting noted players pressing for clearer details as the second Expedition window ended, and this edition follows the Shrouded Sky update that introduced the second Expedition and the Surgeon Raider Deck, see earlier coverage linking players demanded clarity and the Shrouded Sky patch for context.

Completing the Expedition Project is a multi-step process. The Project again uses six stages, and each stage contains four requirements made up of materials, ARC parts, and coin-value donations. The fifth stage is the largest single hurdle because its four donation requirements add up to 750,000 Coins in total.

Expedition Project Stage Expedition Project Requirements
Stage 1: Foundation
  • 150x Metal Parts
  • 100x Chemicals
  • 80x ARC Alloy
  • 15x Steel Springs
Stage 2: Core Systems
  • 30x Durable Cloth
  • 25x Wires
  • 20x Electrical Components
  • 3x Industrial Charger
Stage 3: Framework
  • 1x Coffee Pot
  • 35x Battery
  • 5x Firefly Burner
  • 1x Exodus Modules
Stage 4: Outfitting
  • 1x Broken Guidance System
  • 5x Advanced Electrical Components
  • 3x Breathtaking Snow Globe
  • 2x Bombardier Cell
Stage 5: Load Stage
  • 200,000 Coins worth of Combat Items
  • 100,000 Coins worth of Survival Items
  • 150,000 Coins worth of Provisions
  • 300,000 Coins worth of Materials
Stage 6: Departure
  • No donations needed, you’re ready for the Expedition

Stage five’s four donation lines add up to 750,000 Coins, and players should plan their resource sales and hoards accordingly if they want to reach the top stages before the window closes. If players do not finish the Expedition before the window ends, any progress saved from earlier attempts will carry over to the next time the Project appears, so partial work is not lost.

Are you planning to wipe for the third Expedition and push for stage five’s 750,000 Coin total? Tell us in the comments and follow for updates on the event and changes on X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Instagram.
