Embark Studios pushed Patch 1.18.0 for Arc Raiders, changing how First Wave Caches behave under the Hurricane map condition and applying a handful of bug and exploit fixes.
The studio says it has “lowered the drop rate of rare blueprints slightly and raised the drop rate for high tier materials in First Wave Caches on the Hurricane map condition.” The Shrouded Sky update that introduced Hurricane arrived on February 24, 2026, as part of the wider Shrouded Sky rollout on that date (Shrouded Sky arrival details).
Embark linked the full notes on its site and explained the change like this, patch notes quote the developer, “The main reason for this change is that the First Wave Caches have been handing out a lot of blueprints, especially given how good players have been at tracking them down and looting them. To help balance that out, we’re bumping up the drop rates for higher-tier materials inside the caches.” The same post also says “you’ll be getting better materials in return.”
Arc Raiders Patch Notes 1.18.0
Overview. The biggest change in this update adjusts loot from First Wave Caches under the Hurricane map condition, shifting some reward weight away from rare blueprints toward higher-tier crafting materials. The update also removes several exploits and addresses stability and performance problems.

- Fixed “an exploit that allowed players to put weapons in a safe pocket without the Safekeeper Augment.”
- Fixed “an issue that allowed players to put the Snaphook into a safe pocket while in use.”
