Arc Raiders pre-orders open, with Server Slam test running Oct 17-19 ahead of Oct 30 launch

Embark Studios has opened pre-orders for Arc Raiders and announced a pre-launch Server Slam running October 17-19 on Xbox Series X|S, ahead of the game’s October 30, 2025, release. The title has evolved into a PvPvE extraction adventure that pairs high-stakes runs topside with a handcrafted action-adventure world.

The setting is a lethal future Earth under siege by a mechanized threat called Arc, from drones to towering giants. Most survivors hide below in Speranza, while Raiders risk the surface to scavenge resources and loot to improve their Workshop and gear. A Tech Test in May showed the tension players enjoy during those topside runs, where staying longer can mean richer rewards or running straight into Arc or other Raiders.

Game loops lean on risk and choice. Night Raids promise bigger payouts but lower visibility and heavier Arc activity, which changes loadout decisions and teamwork. Players will craft tools and weapons in the safety of their Workshop before heading back out to the field. The result is frequent moments where a team must decide: push for the big haul or cut losses and extract.

Pre-orders are available now on the Xbox Store. The Server Slam test on Xbox Series X|S from October 17 to 19 is an open opportunity to stress-test servers and get a taste of the systems that will be live at launch. For those who want the storefront page, the Xbox game listing is here: Arc Raiders on Xbox, and the Microsoft Store app page is here: Microsoft Store. How long will teams stay topside when the loot looks that tempting? Expect runs to be tense, strategic, and unpredictable, with map conditions changing how each play session unfolds.
