Players reported a frustrating bug in Arc Raiders after clips circulated on December 23, 2025 showing high-profile streamers unable to draw their weapons during active firefights. The problem appears in several short clips where characters enter combat but cannot equip a gun or secondary weapon, leaving them vulnerable while teammates try to explain what’s happening.
A clip shared to social media shows Richard Tyler “Ninja” Blevins grappling into a shootout and then standing unarmed as enemies close in. Esports reporter Jake Lucky shared the moment and noted others in the scene saying the same thing has happened to them.
There appears to be an ARC Raiders bug not allowing players to pull their gun out

Responses in that thread list similar symptoms. One player wrote, “Yuppp, was happening to me too yesterday, thought I was losing it for real.” Another said they could pull their primary gun and raider tool but not their secondary firearm. Reports suggest the bug is intermittent and not tied to a single loadout. Embark Studios has not issued a public comment yet. If the issue continues to surface for multiple streamers and everyday players, it will likely be addressed in a hotfix or the next update.
Separately, Arc Raiders recently saw an optional character reset called the Expedition Project go live; players are still debating whether the rewards matched the cost of wiping characters, we covered that first Expedition Project wipe here: first Expedition Project wipe.
