The clip shows the player, seaskyways, fighting the Matriarch from range, getting swarmed by Hornets and Wasps, and holding on as shields absorb incoming damage. Just as their situation looks salvageable, the player dives off the dam and falls to death.
Seaskyways spelled out the loss in a Reddit post and attached a video of the moment. The original quote reads: “I lost 100k worth of stuff in the stupidest way imaginable. I will not top this death anytime soon (hopefully)“. He had high-end items and consumables that make a Matriarch attempt viable, including a Venator 4 with a blue mag and handle mod, a Hullcracker 2, two Wolfpack grenades, two ziplines, two jolt mines, three barricades, 400 medium ammo, and lots of heals and shields. That loadout represents both time and in-game currency sunk into a single run.
