The latest updates for Xbox Game Pass are in, and April 2025 is bringing some interesting additions. Wave 1 features several Day One releases, with expected titles like South of the Midnight and Commandos: Origins.
Xbox Game Pass Schedule for April Wave 1
Starting April 3, subscribers to Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard can access the Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition. This edition includes four campaign add-ons, Director’s Cut content, and all cosmetic packs. On the same day, players will enjoy the quirky co-op puzzle titled All You Need is Help, available on console through Game Pass Standard.
The excitement continues on April 3 with two more games being added via Game Pass Standard: Still Wakes the Deep, a chilling survival game set on an oil rig in the Northern Sea, and Wargroove 2, which introduces a fresh cast of Commanders alongside new features like design capabilities, share options, cut-scenes, campaigns, and much more.
The following week brings even more treats. On April 8, console and PC users can jump into Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition. This bundle combines Diablo III with its acclaimed Reaper of Souls expansion. The first Day One title launches that same day—South of Midnight, accessible for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X/S through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users.
The action continues on April 9 when Commando: Origins drops for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X/S as another Day One addition through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The last Day One title of the month—Blue Prince—will launch across cloud platforms and PC and Xbox Series X/S on April 10. Finally, mark your calendar for April 15 when Hunt Showdown 1896 arrives for PC via Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Games Leaving Game Pass in April
If you’re excited about these new arrivals at Xbox Game Pass this month, be aware that several titles will leave soon. Starting from April 15, you won’t find these games in the library:
