Apex Legends next playable character is “Vantage”
A sharpshooter with insane abilities and a devastating rifle that will spread fear and terror all around the map.
Vantage, the sharpshooter and next playable character in Apex Legends, is ready to set a foothold and dominate the Kings Canyon. The legend itself is supposed to arrive once Apex Legends: Survive sounds the beginning of the new season 14, which is scheduled for August 9. Now let’s talk more about Vantage, the upcoming playable character in Apex Legends.
Vantage is a survivor, raised on the barren ice planet of Pagos, which harsh environment provided durability and taught her multiple lessons. With a strong mindset and possession of extraordinary abilities, she’s more than ready to join Apex Legends, together with her loyal pet, Echo, who looks like an otherworldly bat.
While we do not have plenty of details on Vantage, we know that we’ll have a robust and muscular female character joining the already existing Apex Legends lineup. Respawn Entertainment hasn’t provided more details but hinted of some coming in the near future. More about the new season and the character abilities will be revealed in August, but we cannot wait until then, so let’s see what Vantage is capable of.
Apex Legends Vantage Abilities
Just a quick heads-up. The abilities below are based on a leak and may be inaccurate.
- Passive: Sniper Kit
- Based on the leaks, once Vantage uses a sniper scope, her passive ability will allow her to gain info about the opponents on the other side of the scope. Information such as crew size, range, player names, etc…
- Tactical: Echo Launch
- This will allow Vantage to launch towards her winged companion, Echo. Furthermore, she can order Echo to do some attacking maneuvers.
- Ultimate: Mark to Kill
- Vantage can summon a custom rifle that scans enemies and increases the damage of her and the squad. The damage doubles with each subsequent shot, while the team gets 15% increased damage on marked enemies.
