The Gundam universe arrives in Apex Legends on March 11, 2026 with a limited collaboration that adds cosmetic and in-game content tied to the franchise. The event runs through April 14, 2026 and includes new Legend skins, weapon reskins, map updates, and real-world merchandise from Bandai Namco.
Eight Legends will receive Gundam-inspired skins that match individual lore and playstyle. The announcement highlights these specific examples:
- Valkyrie receives a Wing Gundam Zero-inspired skin.
- Crypto receives a Freedom Gundam-inspired skin.
- Octane receives a Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX skin.
- Alter receives a Gundam Epyon skin.
In addition, a Char Aznable-inspired Sparrow skin will be offered in the Reward Shop during the event. The collaboration also brings eight Gundam-themed weapon variants to the game. Three of the weapon reskins named in the announcement are the “Buster Rifle” Kraber, the “Destiny 99” R-99, and the “Aerial 301” R-301. The weapons will be available as part of the event’s item offerings.
Players may buy any Legend skin directly from the limited-time Apex Legends x Gundam Event Store until April 14, 2026. Outside the game, Bandai Namco will release three limited-edition Apex Legends-inspired model kits tied to the crossover.
