Anthem received some loot buffs, could receive more

After all of the Freelancers noticed how Anthem performed badly with the loot drop rate nerf, it was time for the developers to take some actions. Therefore, BioWare decided to tweak some things up, and instead of increasing the loot drop rate, they’ve decided to compensate with some other things.

The changes were listed on the official Anthem’s Subreddit. You can find them below:

  • Items will no longer have inscriptions on them that are not appropriate for that specific item. NOTE: This only applies to items obtained after the patch. Items obtained prior to the hotfix will still have the same inscriptions they had before.
  • Masterwork crafting costs have been reduced from 25 -> 15 Masterwork Embers. The amount of plants, metal and parts required for crafting a Masterwork item have also been reduced.

Furthermore, the developers decided to cut the struggles for players that reached to level 30. Keep in mind that this is still in the talks, but it is most likely to be seen. It is quite uncommon to see a high tier player to receive uncommon and common items, even if doing one of the hardest Grandmaster difficulties.

Therefore, seeing the devs working on their game and trying to satisfy the community pretty much stands out. In any scenario, we’d love to see Anthem growing even bigger. It can definitely cope with some high tier MMOs out there.
