It’s yet another good “RUN” for the speedrunning marathon that occurs twice a year. Games Done Quick has managed to raise $2,000,000 in charitable donations, this year going to Doctors Without Borders. Each time Games Done Quick event comes to a start, the hype builds enormously fast. The same happened during this weekend.
In any case, Games Done Quick offers a lot of fun. Thanks to the speedrunners that attended the event, each time we can witness various video games beaten in record time. Glitches and bugs are also allowed, it’s just the timer countdown that matters.
By having lots of players from across the globe, beating exciting and hard to play titles such as Cuphead was quite satisfying to watch. The players had brought a whole new tempo to each of the games, discovering numbers of glitches that may count as your ally during the process of beating the game.
However, the whole cherry at the top of the cake comes down to being a charitable event. Games Done Quick has always been here to entertain lots of gamers across the world, no matter the genre or type of game they played. It’s somewhat a phenomenon to see them beating games that fast. As our favorite, you can take a peek at the Games Done Quick Cuphead run by “TheMexicanRunner” below.
It was not only Cuphead’s speedrun that took place at the event. There were also, Kingdon Hearts HD 1.5 Remis, Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, Pepsiman and more. If you’d love to find out more videos of the same category, you can check Games Done Quick official Youtube Channel.
