The star of this auction is a 2013 Chevrolet Caprice, the kind of ride you’ll see cruising the streets of Vice City in GTA 6. The auction started at just $10 but has climbed to $3,250 so far. What’s wild is that it is a replica, it’s the actual car Rockstar scanned to build the in-game model.
According to the auction details, “This car is one of the actual used models for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 video game and was 3D scanned directly into the game, meaning you’ll be able to drive this exact car in the game.” It’s fully street legal, too, complete with police gear like a light bar, siren, brush guard, and spotlights on each side. The Vice City police department markings are right there on the door. Someone could really roll around town in this GTA 6 police cruiser before the game even drops.
The car was driven around to promote GTA 6, which is slated for release in 2026. The auction is ending soon, and I gotta wonder who’s going to snag it. Imagine cruising your neighborhood in a real GTA 6 car months before the game even launches. That’s kinda surreal. Maybe I’d drive it every day until it totally gave out, who wouldn’t want that?
