AMD has released the Adrenalin 25.6.3 driver for its graphics cards, bringing support for FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4.0) in a couple of notable titles. If you play Monster Hunter Wilds or Grand Theft Auto 5: Enhanced Edition, this update might be one you want to grab.
The update also fixes some bugs, including an issue where RX 9000 series cards couldn’t use FSR 4.0 in games like DragonKin: The Banished, Blades of Fire, RoadCraft, The Alters, Star Wars Outlaws, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. That’s a relief for owners of those GPUs.
Other fixes address crashes with Black Myth: WuKong on Radeon RX 7650 GRE cards, as well as texture flickering and corruption in Oblivion Remastered when using FSR on Radeon RX 9070 XT. Those issues could be pretty distracting, so it’s good to see them patched.
However, some problems remain unresolved. The driver does not fix random crashes in Cyberpunk 2077 on RX 7000 or RX 9000 series GPUs, nor does it address crashes in Monster Hunter Wilds when Radeon Anti-Lag and Instant Replay are enabled. Stuttering issues in Call of Duty: Warzone on the Season 03 ‘Verdansk’ map also persist. So, if you were hoping for a fix there, you might still be waiting.
You can download the driver directly from AMD’s official site. Below is the full changelog for more details.
