The Alone in the Dark franchise has been resurrected once again in a new reboot by developer Pieces Interactive and publisher THQ Nordic. The latest entry in the survival horror franchise has officially launched worldwide and is now available for PCs and consoles.
Players can step into the shoes of either Emily Hartwood or Edward Carnby, performed by Jodie Comer and David Harbour. The narrative propels them into the mysterious Derceto Manor, an asylum with a dark secret.
Here, in pursuit of Emily’s missing uncle, they find themselves trapped in mysteries that tests their sanity and survival instincts. The game’s rich storytelling is augmented by puzzle-solving, exploration, and combat, all experienced through a third-person perspective.
