Adam “PezRadar” Fletcher announced on X that his final day at Blizzard will be November 19. Fletcher has been the public face of Diablo IV community communications since launch and held the role of director of social and content marketing for the Diablo franchise.
Some news to share with everyone: my last day at Blizzard will be on November 19th.
This was my second time back at Blizzard in my career. It’s a company that means a ton to me, as it created my most memorable gaming experiences as I was growing up. Blizzard has become more than… pic.twitter.com/Lm3qr1vmwq

For many players Fletcher was the person who explained patch notes, hosted livestreams, and translated developer talks into plain language. He ran community updates and handled the back-and-forth with an often impatient audience. That steady, familiar presence mattered because it smoothed the moments when the game needed calm public answers.
Diablo IV still has oversized items on its schedule. Blizzard has public discussions about new features, including discussions about a Solo Self-Found mode, and the franchise will hit its 30th anniversary in 2026. Fletcher said he plans to watch the next chapter as a fan, not as a staffer.
Fletcher did not name a next employer. The Diablo team will continue releasing updates and engaging players while a replacement is named. Losing a person who handled community-facing work creates a short-term gap for messaging and livestream cadence, but development and release schedules tend to be more resilient than the community would have people believe.
This departure is another in a series of personnel changes at Blizzard over the past year. For players who followed Fletcher’s streams and Q&A sessions, it will be a noticeable shift in tone and familiarity when someone new steps into the role.
