Activision To Release Two New IPs In The Second Half of 2020

If you haven’t heard, Activision is planning to release two new games based on existing stories. Currently holding the scene with multiple titles, competitive-wise, Activision is still one of the strongest triple-A publishers, with its latest and most successful Battle Royale iteration, Warzone.

Two new games are scheduled to arrive, but no one knows any more details except for a couple of rumors that have surfaced earlier this year. A possibility is that we may see a Tony Hawk title, or maybe a Crash remake, something that Activision is familiar to.

In a 2020 press-conference, the CFO Dennis Durkin has expressed the plans of the income for 2020 to be originating from two main titles in Activision’s row. Thanks to the merge with Blizzard, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is one of them, and the other one, the same old Call of Duty franchise.

Turning to the second half of the year, our planned slate includes a new Call of Duty premium title, two releases based on our extensive library of IP from Activision, and Blizzard’s Shadowlands expansion for World of Warcraft.

In other news, Call of Duty: Warzone’s development will continue, as we may see two new cold maps to enrich the playing field.
