Activision has announced dates for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 beta and begun handing out early access codes, with the first batch of 1,000 already released. The early access window runs October 2 to October 5, and the open beta follows from October 5 to October 8.
The publisher posted on X that “The countdown to the #BlackOps7 Beta has begun” and encouraged fans to share the post as it teased code drops. Within an hour Activision posted the first batch of 1,000 codes, and later confirmed that preorders will unlock early access to the beta.

Those who preordered Black Ops 7 will be able to join the Early Access beta, while everyone will get a chance to play during the Open Beta window. The full game arrives November 14, 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The title is developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision.

Activision referred to the 1,000 codes as the “first drop of 1000 codes,” which suggests further drops could come before early access begins. Will more codes be released in the days ahead? Fans following the official channels should be ready when Activision posts the next batch.
