Bungie as a Developer, Activision as a Publisher, Blizzard as a Partner with their Battle.net launcher. We assume that these three big names have put a lot of work in the PC version of Destiny 2. After Destiny 2 launched on consoles, all the PC players were kind of disappointed because of their prolonged launch time. However, the day is about to come very soon as October 24th is just about 10 days from now. Before the Launch of Destiny 2, as it should be, Activision and Bungie have revealed Destiny 2 PC minimum requirements and size of the game.
According to their announcement, Destiny 2 will need quite a powerful rig to run the game smoothly. To taste the game at a minimum performance level, you will barely need an I3-3250 @ 3.5GHz or AMD FX-4350 @ 4.2 GGz and Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB, GTX 1050 2GB, or AMD RADEON HD 7850 2GB. The Ram memory the game needs is decent with only 6GB of ram, while the recommended is at 8GB.
Looks like the optimizations are quite high and lower end PCs will be able to somewhat enjoy what Destiny 2 will offer on PC. On the other side, the Recommended requirements should be suited by Intel Core i5-2400 3.4 GHz, i5 7400 3.5 GHz or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X 3.6 GHz.
Destiny 2’s size will be around 68GB of disk space, which is by double more than the Xbox and PS version.
The PC Version of Destiny 2 should and will offer advanced visuals and will support 4K Resolution, with unlimited frame FPS. To be honest, the PC Beta offered quite an amazing performance, so we’re not that bothered by the veracity of the newest announcements. Destiny 2 will be released on October, 24. In the meantime, Destiny 2 will launch the Prestige version of the Leviathan raid and it will go live throughout the next week, as it was postponed to Oct.18 because of an exploit discovery.
