A WoW player turned Dust 2 into a house build, and the result is oddly convincing
The recreation even included a car assembled from wooden shelves, doormats, and fruit plates, and Blizzard's official account replied to the build on X.

A World of Warcraft player used housing tools to rebuild Counter-Strike’s Dust 2, and the result looked close enough to fool the eye at a glance. The map was shared by Reddit user Edengonedark in a WoW Housing post, where the creator showed off a version of the famous map built inside their house.
any counter strike players? i made the csgo version of dust 2 in my wow house!

The build featured the usual Dust 2 landmarks, but the wildest detail was the car, which Edengonedark said was made from wooden shelves, doormats, and fruit plates. On X, the creator said it was probably the hardest design they had ever worked on because the room was not tall enough and because carpets and stones did not sit flat. They also said they rage quit about 40 times a day while putting it together.
more angles. this was prob the hardest design i ever worked on. the room wasn't big enough, wasn't tall enough. throw in that the carpets + stones don't lie flat and i ragequit like 40 times per day lol. pic.twitter.com/LjFvPQeOjr

Blizzard’s official World of Warcraft X account even replied with a joke video and the line, “B site when?” That kind of reaction makes sense for a build that looks like it belongs in a different game entirely until you start noticing the fantasy housing pieces underneath.
Amazing.

The creator also shared directions in a Reddit comment for EU World of Warcraft players who wanted to visit the map themselves, since the Dust 2 remake sits inside the house rather than out in the open. For anyone watching Blizzard’s housing rollout, it is another reminder that players are already finding strange ways to push the tools.
