A new Star Fox reveal may be coming through Nintendo Today, if this leak holds up
NateTheHate said the game would be announced this month, and a separate report from VGC also pointed to a Nintendo Switch 2 release.
A new Star Fox game may be on Nintendo’s radar for this month, with leaker NateTheHate saying the reveal would arrive through the Nintendo Today app.
The claim is not coming out of nowhere. Late last month, NateTheHate said on his podcast that Nintendo was working on a new Star Fox game, that it would be announced soon, and that it would launch later this summer. VGC later supported the rumor and said the project was a Nintendo Switch 2 release.
When asked again on X whether the claim was still on track, NateTheHate replied, “I said StarFox will be announced this month via Nintendo Today or Twitter,” and then answered “yes” when pressed on whether he was fully confident it would happen this month.

The timing fits the way Nintendo has been using its app to surface news, but for now this remains a rumor. Still, if Nintendo does have something to show, Star Fox would be one of the more surprising comebacks in the company’s lineup after years of silence for the series.
