GTA Online continues to offer fresh content even after many years, and The Data Leaks missions have become a fan favorite for their rewarding payouts and manageable difficulty. Featuring a special appearance by Dr. Dre, these missions provide a fun way to earn money without needing a team.

To unlock The Data Leaks missions, you must own an Agency and complete a Security Contract. After that, Franklin will call you to arrange a meeting at the Los Santos Golf Club, marked on the map with a large yellow “F.”

There is a one-time prerequisite mission called “On-Course” that unlocks access to the VIP Contract on the Agency computer, followed by a one-time Free Mode setup mission named “Data Recovery.”

After these, three mission chains become available, each containing two Free Mode setup missions and a finale. You can complete these in any order you prefer.

Once you finish each stage, two finale missions unlock sequentially and can be launched from Franklin’s office inside the Agency.

For first-time completions, you’ll need to wait for Franklin to contact you between stages. Later on, missions can be started directly from the Agency computer.

The Data Leaks missions can be completed solo, so you don’t need to collaborate. The Free Mode missions offer infinite lives, while the finales allow two deaths and include checkpoints to help if you find them challenging.

Mission Name Details
On-Course One-Time Mission
Data Recovery One-Time Setup
Nightlife Leak Investigation: The Nightclub
Investigation: The Marina
High Society Leak Investigation: The Country Club
Investigation: Guest List
South Central Leak Investigation: Davis
Investigation: The Ballas
Studio Time Single Mission
Don’t F* With Dre Single Mission

Owning an Agency also grants access to Security Contracts and Payphone Hits, which are repeatable Free Mode missions. These can be a steady source of income, especially when Rockstar offers weekly bonuses on these activities.

Completing the entire Data Leaks mission chain rewards you with a $1 million payout. If it’s your first time finishing the chain, you’ll also receive an extra $250,000 bonus, plus additional rewards for each mission completed for the first time.

Subsequent completions offer smaller payouts per mission, but the final reward remains $1 million.

After the initial run, you can complete the missions faster by skipping cutscenes and avoiding wait times between stages, making The Data Leaks one of the most efficient ways to earn money in GTA Online.
