Understanding Loot Distribution in Throne and Liberty

Your Guide to Maximizing Rewards in Solisium

The thrill of the hunt! In Throne and Liberty, every adventurer knows that the spoils of battle can make or break your experience. As you conquer devious Field Bosses and bravely delve into Abyss Dungeons, understanding how loot is distributed will undoubtedly enhance your journey through Solisium. So, grab a comfy seat, and let’s unravel the intricacies of loot distribution together!

Before we dive into the details of loot rules, let’s clarify a couple of key concepts: contributions and event items.

  • Contribution: This is earned by dealing damage to enemies or healing your allies during battles. It’s important to note that healing contributes to your score whether you’re in a party or helping out in guild-level events, like those thrilling Field Boss encounters.
  • Event Items: These are special loot drops collected during Dynamic Events, such as wolf tails in the wolf hunting event, which you can turn in for event progress.

Now, let’s take a closer look at loot distribution based on your activities in the game.

General Activities

  • Applicable Activities: Open World Farming, Abyss Dungeon Farming, Quests, Contracts, Dynamic Events, Co-op Dungeons (excluding the final reward chest)
  • Applicable Enemies: Normal, Elite, Party Elite

Distribution Rules:

  • When an enemy is defeated, loot is assigned to the player who first earned contribution by dealing damage.
  • If you’re in a group, the loot is assigned to your party instead, with equal chances of distribution among all party members.
  • Players who have no contribution and are out of range will be excluded from the loot pool.
  • Items are distributed evenly when possible. For example, if 10 items drop for a party of 5, each player should receive 2 items. If this isn’t feasible, some players may receive an extra drop or two.
  • Sollant and experience are distributed evenly as well.

Peace Mode Bosses and Guild Raids

  • Applicable Enemies: Field Bosses and Arch Bosses
  • When a Peace Mode Field Boss falls, players are sorted by their individual contributions.
  • A guild’s overall contribution does not influence loot distribution in Peace Mode bosses.
  • Players must meet a minimum contribution to be eligible for loot.
  • There are two types of drops: Contribution drops based on individual contribution, and Random drops for those who missed out on contribution drops.
  • Each player can only receive one drop per boss encounter.
  • Sollant and experience are distributed evenly.

For example, if a Field Boss drops the following loot:

  • Contribution Drops: 1x Sword, 1x Mask, 1000 Sollant
  • Random Drops: 1x Boots

Assuming your contribution was 3% of the total, you’d have a 3% chance to acquire either the sword or the mask. Meanwhile, all players meeting the minimum contribution would have an equal chance to snag the Boots.

Conflict Mode Bosses

  • Loot is assigned in two stages: first to the guild, then to individual players within that guild.
  • The guild’s contribution is the sum of each player’s contribution who participated in the fight.
  • Guilds must meet a minimum contribution to receive loot.
  • Loot items are distributed based on guild contribution.
  • Players who die during the fight lose 70% of their contribution, impacting their guild’s total.
  • Once a guild receives an item, all participating players have an equal chance to obtain it.

To illustrate, let’s say a Field Boss drops:

  • Drops: 1x Sword, 1x Mask, 1000 Sollant

If players A, B, and C contribute 10%, 15%, and 20% respectively, the guild’s total contribution would be 45%. This means the guild has a 45% chance to acquire the Sword and Mask, and once the Mask is obtained, players A, B, and C would have equal chances to receive it.

So, there you have it! With this knowledge in your back pocket, you can confidently claim the throne in the next Castle Siege and ensure you’re well-equipped for whatever challenges await you in Solisium. Happy hunting, and may your loot be plentiful!
