EA decided to make their WW2 game free of microtransactions, in which the players need to grind their way towards getting a cosmetic item. With that being said, they are separate in multiple divisions or classes, Assault, Medic, Support, Recon.
With that being said, to get the common, rare and epic skins, you need to spend a bit more time in the game and encourage the game to grant you the needed XP, including some Company Coins so you could buy all the uncommon items.
In general, it is somewhat EA should’ve been doing in the past, encouraging players to step their game up before they get the wanted cosmetic item. Hence, a longer playtime equals win-win situation for all.
Daily Orders
Daily Orders are not that important as they mostly give you Company Coins, but who knows, they may offer something unique in near future.
Assignments
Now, despite the level up way of getting new skins, there are assignments. Each assignment has something to offer, and after completing that particular assignment BF V grants you the enlisted cosmetic. Therefore, if you have an empty slot, make sure you activate an assignment. See pic below:
TLDR
As a player, you’ll need to upgrade all the classes, Assault, Medic, Support, Recon to level 10. After that, the assignments will unlock which are going to allow you to get all the gold skins, or in other words, the epic skins.
