EA is hosting several beta phases for Battlefield 6 before its October release, giving players a chance to test the game early. Here’s a clear breakdown of the beta start times, how to get early access, and what’s included.
Beta pre-loads are available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, EA App). The early access phase begins on August 7th, with full open weekends following.
When Does Battlefield 6 Beta Early Access Begin?
The beta runs in three stages, with two weekends open to all players. Early access is for those with codes or who participated in Battlefield Labs.
- North America: 1am PDT / 2am MDT / 3am CDT / 4am EDT
- UK/Ireland: 9am BST
- Europe: 10am CEST / 11am EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 5pm JST / 4pm AWST / 6pm AEST

How to Get Early Access to the Battlefield 6 Beta
Early access requires a code, which you could get by participating in Battlefield Labs before the reveal or by watching Twitch streamers during the event to earn a Twitch Drop code.
Update (August 1, 13:00 BST): Twitch Drops for early access ended with the reveal event. If you missed Battlefield Labs and the Twitch Drops, you’ll have to wait until Weekend 1 to play.
Unfortunately, the Phantom Edition of the game does not grant early beta access. If you didn’t get a code via Labs or Twitch, there’s no official way to get early access at this point.
What’s Included in the Battlefield 6 Beta?
The beta will feature 4 modes and 4 maps initially, with more added in the second weekend.
Weekend 1 (August 9-10):
- Maps
- Siege of Cairo, Liberation Peak, Iberian Offensive
- Modes
- Conquest, Closed Weapons Breakthrough, Domination, King of the Hill
Weekend 2 (August 14-17):
- Maps
- All Weekend 1 maps plus Empire State
- Modes
- All Weekend 1 modes plus Rush and Squad Deathmatch
Beta Rewards
Playing the beta will earn you cosmetic rewards for the full game by completing challenges.
Weekend 1 rewards include:
- Lights Out Player Card, Reach level 10
- Rising Star Character Skin, Reach level 15
- Night Terror Weapon Charm, Reach level 20
- Striking Distance Weapon Package, 50 close quarter kills (Assault)
- Own the Night Weapon Sticker, Revive 100 teammates (Support)
- After Dark Weapon Sticker, Repair 3,000 vehicle health (Engineer)
- Seeker Character Skin, Spot 300 enemies (Recon)
Weekend 2 rewards include:
- War Machine Vehicle Skinm Capture 42 flags in Conquest, Domination, or King of the Hill
- Bat Company Dog Tagm 200 kills or assists
- Dominion Weapon Package, Capture 10 sectors in Breakthrough or Rush
