Riot Games is launching 2XKO Season 1 with 12 playable champions at release. The team opted to ship the tag fighter with a smaller initial roster and add more characters over time rather than delay the game.
The game plays as a tag fighter rather than a traditional one versus one. Riot previously said it will expand the roster across 2026, with five new champions planned for the year. Players can also review Riot’s official champion page for reference at 2XKO champions.
