Organizers have published the reward structure for the 2XKO tournament at Evo Japan 2026, confirming both in-game cosmetics for participants and a cash prize pool for the highest placers. Late registration for Evo Japan closes on March 16, 2026, and any registered competitor who completes all matches without forfeiting is eligible to claim the participant rewards. Play2XKO announced the reward details on X, listing event-exclusive items and the breakdown for cash prizes and bonus bounties.

The guaranteed competitor reward is the Blood Moon Akali skin plus an Akali pin exclusive to Evo Japan 2026. Players who advance out of the brackets will unlock additional cosmetic options. Those bracket finishers will automatically receive the Akali skin and can also unlock Blood Moon cosmetics for League of Legends characters Ekko and Yasuo. The Blood Moon set will be offered for purchase in-game prior to the event, so non-competitors can buy the same cosmetics ahead of the tournament.
To redeem rewards at the show, competitors must visit the 2XKO booth during Evo Japan. Claimed items are added to player accounts within one week after the event ends. Players are required to link their start.gg account with their Riot account to be eligible for these rewards. On the cash side, the top eight 2XKO finishers will share a base prize pool of $60,000 (approximately £45,100). Organizers said the final pot will grow depending on revenue from the Frame Perfect bundle, which contributes to prize funds across the 2026 Competitive Series, and the final total number of 2XKO registrations. A separate Duo Bounty will award an additional $5,000 (approximately £3,750) to the highest-placing duo at Evo Japan.
Evo Japan 2026 runs from May 1, 2026 to May 3, 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight Hall 1-3. The festival hosts a dozen main tournaments, including 2XKO, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, among others. Evo traces its history back to 1996 and remains one of the longstanding fighting game championship events; background on Evo is available from the official site. For a short demonstration of the series’ latest character addition, a developer-uploaded clip is available on YouTube. Please visit the official Evo information page for more info.
