2XKO, Riot Games‘ tag-team fighter, moved into closed beta in September 2025, and PC servers are live while invites are being sent out in waves; progress will be wiped when the test ends, so account progression is temporary.
The game features nine launch characters and a tenth yet to be revealed, and it uses League of Legends champions as a foundation via League of Legends cameos. Players who participated in the Alpha Lab tests will be the first to receive PC access, while newcomers will be added gradually.
One official X post from the game’s account noted servers are live and that invites are being distributed to PC players; the team warned that “all progress will be reset when closed beta ends,” so hours spent grinding will not carry forward. The official What’s New announcement also states invites will continue until “everyone is included,” indicating Riot plans to expand access until the pool is exhausted.

Invited players receive referral links they can share, and community members have already aggregated codes in a Referral Codes Megathread on Reddit so friends can join sooner; such referral mechanics may speed how quickly matches fill and how fast the beta expands. PC only for now.
Riot’s public site also provides a general landing page for the test and signups at the official 2XKO site, which lists platforms, cross-save support, and other test details.
