Riot will release the full PS5 version of 2XKO on January 20. A new gameplay trailer shows the character Caitlyn in action ahead of Season 1. Caitlyn is introduced as the “Sheriff of Piltover.” She uses a sniper rifle as her primary tool. Her bullets travel with a short delay, which makes them dodgeable rather than instant hits.
Her rifle can be fired in multiple directions. She also carries traps, including a net that temporarily ties up enemies and sets them up for follow-up combos. Her supers include a single devastating shot and a moving shield that crosses the screen. The trailer notes that the shield visually resembles Urien’s Aegis Reflector from Street Fighter.
Players wanting to try Caitlyn or check Season 1 details will find the PS5 build available from January 20.
