2K Games will remove WWE 2K24 from sale on Steam on February 1, 2026, and the game will lose all offline functionality on March 31, 2026, according to the game’s Steam store page and a report from Delisted Games.
The game launched on March 8, 2024, so this window of availability covers under two years on sale and online. 2K originally planned to turn off online features earlier in January 2026 but the shutdown date was moved to March 31. This follows a pattern for 2K’s wrestling releases.
There are practical reasons, running servers costs money and player numbers for the game on Steam are very low – Steam’s concurrent players list shows about 188 players – which makes continued support hard to justify. Still, for people who keep older copies and want to play offline, the March 31 cutoff matters because it removes local functionality, not just multiplayer.
WWE games ship on an annual cadence, and that release rhythm now comes with built-in expiration dates for online features. Fans who want to keep longtime modes or community content should note the delisting and server schedule now rather than later.
