This game had quite the journey, from being crafted as an open-world MMORPG to morphing into a single-player experience. Personally? I’m thrilled it’s no longer an MMORPG because it now offers something fresh and focused.
The combat system is one of the standout features. It’s more action-packed and forgiving than punishing titles like Dark Souls or Elden Ring! So, if you’ve been looking for an adventure that’s less about dying repeatedly and more about having fun, this could be your jam. I have to say I love what I’m seeing so far, and I’m betting big that Crimson Desert will make waves when it eventually hits shelves in late 2025.
