13 PS5 and PS4 Games Will Leave PS Plus Extra in August 2025

Notable titles like The Witcher 3 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor exit PS Plus Extra next month.

Another batch of games is about to exit PS Plus Extra in August 2025, and it includes some heavy hitters you might want to revisit before they vanish. Among the departing titles are The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, both of which are available on PS5 and PS4. You’ll have until August 19 to download and play these games before they’re removed from the service.

Here’s the complete list of games leaving PS Plus Extra on August 19, 2025:

  • EA Sports UFC 5 (PS5)
  • Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (PS5, PS4)
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PS5, PS4)
  • Wild Hearts (PS5)
  • RIDE 5 (PS5)
  • Sword Art Online: Last Recollection (PS5, PS4)
  • Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker (PS4)
  • Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris (PS4)
  • Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet (PS4)
  • Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization (PS4)
  • Sword Art Online: Lost Song (PS4)
  • Vacation Simulator (PS5, PS4)
  • Bugsnax (PS5, PS4)

You’ve got just over a month to jump into these games if you haven’t already. The Witcher 3 alone could eat up a lot of hours, and it’s always a shame to see such a sprawling RPG leave the lineup. What about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? That’s a solid action-adventure that might be worth finishing if it’s been on your backlog for a while.

Other titles like Wild Hearts and Bugsnax might not have grabbed as much attention, but are still worth checking out before they disappear. If you’re into the Sword Art Online series, you’ll want to act fast on those entries too, as several are leaving at once.

Are you planning to play any of these games before they leave PS Plus Extra? Maybe you’ve been holding off on The Witcher 3 or Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and now feel the pressure to get stuck in. Let me know what’s on your list in the comments below.
